![]() Again, I should point out that I'm not in the volleyball field. Every week, I would provide a weekly summary report to the coach so that he can make an informed decision. I also look for recruits who didn't send emails or video links to the coach. To use the volleyball example, I would go through all the emails sent by parents and kids, all the video links, and all the pertinent personal information. ![]() In addition, my expertise was to identify gems from all this traffic. Sure, they could do it themselves but would they have the time to do that and still get all the other tasks they needed to get done? So, my job was to come in and go through all that data and function like a filter. Without me, my clients would have to wade through a hundred, if not a thousand, bits of information. One of the things I did in my profession was offer value-added service. (I don't know about you but I hate finding hundreds of emails in my inbox every day. Although I'm not advocating for or against recruiting services, I do wonder if coaches prefer a one-stop site for all their recruiting needs rather than deal with hundreds (if not thousands) of emails from parents and potential recruits (of all ages).
